Mansionization issue tackled at
RHA General Meeting
| To address the growing issue of mansionization,
the Riviera Homeowners Association devoted the General Meeting to a
discussion panel of experts on the subject to share their opinions and
experiences. Held at Richardson Middle school, the seven-member
panel consisted of city officials and residents discussing their
respective experiences and opinions. Time was also devoted to
answering questions directly from residents in attendance. |

| Turnout at the packed meeting was estimated at
over 240, indicating the depth of concern among residents over issues of
interpreting the Hillside Overlay
Ordinance, planning commission and City Council judgments, building code
limitations, and neighbor-to-neighbor relations. |
