Featuring the Torrance School Board Candidates

Wednesday's night's School Board Candidate's Forum was a great success with over 100 residents attending the program.  All City Council members also attended. Many issues were covered and nearly all questions (over 35 submitted) were asked and answered by the candidates.

Councilwoman Marsha Cribbs and husband look on as the Candidates answer questions on issues ranging from why Richardson students must take language classes at South High to encouraging bus ridership and elimination of student drop-off/pickup traffic congestion. Ms. Cribbs spoke against Measure Q urging a "No" vote. All city council members also urge a "No" vote.

As School Board candidates look on, Morgan Tookey addresses the homeowners: Please pay your dues.

Although the program lasted well into the night, all in attendance listened closely as Board Candidates, including Mary Taylor(standing), provided their suggestions and plans for the Torrance School District.

Remember to Vote November 6!
